What do you call for your opening play on offense?

i call all my plays the same...read the D and make the appropriate adjustments...

Spread flex, draw.. If they have 4-6 in box and kind of hanging back ill run the draw.. If they spread out completely ill form audible to dive or if im not comfortable with either ill run a 4verts and maybe change a route for checkdown... Whateva i didnt do ill do on 2nd so they know everything is possible

If im feeling dangerous that day, might go max protect play action and try to sneak a streak passed the user defender if he has his eyes in the backfield

Nothin crazy maybe just off tackle or something

I like to come out in a formation I never use and run a couple plays from it.

I-Form Close HB Zone

Strong close-TE Option, make reads and audible from there

I always come out on 1st down with a run called. I look at the D and make adjustments ie right left up the gut or audible to a pass.

I like to run the ball so I spread them out first. normally from single back to try to get them in a nickel D then i make my reads and pound the rock if I can . If they have the box stacked i like to use quick throws to the flat or a bubble screen to try to emty the box

From madden 06-10 I came out every game in singleback ace (use to be big) stretch/dive combo

it was a very good way to start a game. Guaranteeing yards that will keep you on schedule for 2nd down. And its a safe call

then I would branch out into my schemes

M11 I did the whole stay in 1 formation (basically) and run my O. Also it was pretty easy because all i had to do was go to the TE Iso package

This yr to hard for me to put in all my sub packages so to start the game im doing a hodgepodge of things to start games lol... I prob just need to come out in near pro fb dive lol

I run the draw with from the gun 4 wide. Then run the hurry up offense and change to pass depending my defense reads. The only way to stop the run is to send more guys in the box which opens up one of my receivers. usually a slot receiver and I'm able to run a slant route to beat man coverage.

I run the with the cowboys and use the cowboys playbook. I primarily use strong I close, and also the Ace Flex with singleback.

My first play i will try and hit them with a run for sure.
