In the video when I say "Buck Slant" but I meant "Bullet Slant". I shot it on my phone so you'll have to really turn up the volume to hear me. Also in the video I suggest you stack the lb's in blitz #4 (Smokes) the same way you would in blitz #2 (edge heat) to disguise the blitz even though I did not show that in the video.
Under Slide / (4-2-5) *use LB pass rush package
1.play: Bullet Slant 3 play: Bullet Slant 3 (zone) -setup- pinch line stack LOLB (right of screen LB) on inside hip of right of LE (right of screen) move blitzing ROLB (left of screen lb) about 2 yards to the left of WDT (DT on your left) and 1 yard down toward LOS heat= ROLB will loop in around DT's between center and guard, positioning of ROLB is crucial *only slide protect down slows this down at all
&
play: Bullet Slant 1 (man) -setup- setup is the same as Bullet Slant 3 except you want to move the ROLB over further, alsost touching RE (left of screen) and also the RE will be blizing in the man version which isn't needed so you can put him in zone of your choice *only slide protect down slows this down
2.play: any -setup- pinch line crash line left hot blitz the ROLB stack ROLB (Left of screen lb) on outside hip of WDT (DT on your left) stack LOLB (right of screen lb) on outside hip of SDT (DT on your right), you are only doing this so your opponent will not know which side the heat is coming from, do not blitz the LOLB either leave him manned up or leave him in zone coverage depending on the play heat= D end will loop in untouched *no slide protect will slow it down
or for right side heat reverse setup
3,play: any -setup- crash line in hot blitz ROLB (left of screen) and place him over LT put opposite D end in zone of choice heat= RE (left of screen) comes through left A gap untouched *slide protect does not slow this down
4.play: Smokes -setup- pinch line crash line out (loop) stack LOLB over left tackle to mimick the edge blitz setup, do not blitz him he will be in man coverage heat= SS and NB come in off edge *slide protect will slow this down, whichever side you slide to it will come from opposite side even faster, after you hit them with cover 2 blitz a few times use this and they will probably be slide protecting to side you stack the LOLB expecting the end to loop in for the sack. This is a 6 man 0 coverage blitz so use sparingly.
5.Coverage D play: Cover 4 or Cover 6 -setup- crash line left or right, put opposite side end in coverage heat= obviously not intense

Ya I really love this D. It's my base D. I just didn't like a lot of what I've seen out there this year so I found my own. I will switch to 335 Bear and 52 from time to time though.

I checked that out Zan, nice, thanks for pointing that out.. I didn't even know it was in it. I'll incorporate Gibs' stuff into my own scheme. And Ya I know Zan you're a tourney guy therefore you hate custom books lol.

Ive moved to the 34 books for me I'm having better success vs the run. Does this D do anything versus the run? If I could use customs this would be great

ZAN u know how to get A gap heat with 425 ive been cooking up something and it comes in 70 percent of time and only 3 people blitzing so coverage everywhere okayy well go with 60 percent it could just be practice mode though
why u so in love with this formation dnt u hate that LBs are lined up on Wrs in man coverage?

Did the same thing lol
I almost ignored the formation because it wasn't symmetrical enough but I forced myself to look at it due to its unique look. Glad I did.
