E3 Video Content - Madden 13

Hey Guys,

Let me know what teams, playbooks, features etc you want to see from E3, Gibs and I will be attending and posting stuff from there.
We are gonna play a EA E3 Olympics of head to head matchups. We will have Dev interviews and the big announcements coming in hot!

Great stuff man cant wait for all of it to come out! After saying that there are a few things i would love to see.

1st can we get a look at the new 46 odd bear formations along with some of its plays?

2nd can we get a look at some of the new 3,5,and 7 step auto drops along with a look at some of the new pass trajectories?

3rd can we get an in depth look at using and triggering the new catch animations, such as endzone catches, sideline catches, and streak catches.

4th with the new icons could you demonstrate wether or not its possible to throw motion hike passes still?

And Finally, can you please show us randy moss's ratings haha?


These are all the details im dying to to know right now, i would greatly appreciate if you could address all of these, but can understand if you are unable too.

check out the eagles and the texans offensive playbook

I wanna see:

1. Face throws - fixed or still able to do them? how does the cb react
2. De's / Olb's on some of those option plays do they follow the qb or the hb
3. Play actions - does blitzing just destroy it yet again
4. A gap nano's
5. Zone stretches or zone running with cutbacks how does the oline react

Can ya look at the 46 playbook and Run N Gun.

and if the incredibly fast offensive no huddling/audibling is still in effect

Hey, Can you post on the Redskins and Patriots offensive playbooks? Is the Skins playbook still a neutered Texans playbook? I know the fact that Grossman and a washed up McNabb ran that offense over the last two season, but statistically, the offense has put up good numbers. Not quite sure why the Skins book doesn't get any love in terms of an accurate depiction of what they run. But yes, please that book and the Pats book. Also, any book that you've seen that caused your eyebrow to arch as an early ...earrrrrrly sleeper book.

No Player ratings shown...but I do know he's top five in Spectacular catching...

1. Near impossible ...if possible.
2. I gotta look at some more videos for this one...
3. nope...you can finally run PA again...and the break early animation is sweet.
4. Is that a question? Nano means in a nano second sack....so no.
5. You can trip up on the linemen's feet so be careful but other than that not much difference in blocking just yet (still being tweaked)

is the strat pad now LT? it looks like hot routes are different on offense too.

i used quick links buy yea the in game controls manual has the strategy pad on both LT and the d-pad.

The whip route is replacing the slant outs. And running backs hot route with the right stick are as follows up=wheel, left=flats left, right=flats right, down =block and release

so the strat pad will be LT and the d pad? ive figured out the new hot routes in ncaa already. i just dont see how LT can do anything for the strat pad. you start off by using the dpad idk what LT is even for.

I think it just brings up the strategy pad menu

in ncaa face throws seem dead, but you can still do them to a degree. if there's a defender right there soon as you catch the ball he breaks it up, unlike last year where they just didn't make a play on the ball or try to knock the ball loose once you catch it.

again going off ncaa but on certain plays the de stands up stays at home to play the qb and sometimes he comes down and trys to tackle the running back.
