Heard no custom audibles in custom pbs i read?.. Kinda defeats the purpose

so happy that custom books make u keep default auds....LOVIN it.

today is the day that i wish i wasnt so cheap... i dont play any other ea sports titles so cant see spending the money on season ticket... but man i wish I had madden right now... ive seen gibs and farls on XboxLive playing 12 for a while now and now everyone else is too... oh well three more days.. hopefully you guys keep posting stuff so I dont fall to far behind.. thanks MBnation you guys are great..

I won't be buying it now. I canceled my order today for the HOF edition which saves me 90 bucks. I'll still play my roommates copy at times I'm sure but I'm not giving them my money this year. The one thing keeping me around madden (after not liking madden 11 much) and would have led me to buy it again was the ability to call my own plays and not being able to set your own audibles of course destroys that. I feel very much lied to and cheated. Including a broken feature but advertising it like it's a true custom playbook feature like ncaa 12 has was worse than not even including the feature at all. Much worse. I'll still play the game but i'm not buying it and I see myself playing ncaa 12 much more this year.

yea im too cheap as well lol..But I will be going to my GS to play M12 in a lil bit. Gotta test out matty ice

i do have a question...can you set audibles from the pb you want and than turn it into a custom pb and keep the pre set audibles from the play book

I have heard that the retail version is a lot slower than the demo, but on the video posted it looked perfect is there going to be a patch online to make it slower or was that it. That looked great there wasn't many dropped picks thankfully.

the game is slower then the demo which is a drag, but all imma say right now after a few games

but is the video posted above the actual speed , because it looked alright.I know they might have a different unpatched version speed wise, because they got da gm so early.

In the demo the game speed in on normal, in the game it is on slow for online I believe.

I don't see how taking out custom audibles are a good thing ZAN. Maybe I'm missing something please enlighten me.

Not a bad game so far. Offense is tougher than D definitely at this point.. I'm weird when I start playing. I do like 5 mins of practice mode then a ranked game right away ahah. Got matched up with NJROD and won 10 - 7. No bad..

i got M12 early release and the game seems a lil slower. still trying to figure out what i am going to run offensively and defensively with my Ravens though.

yo mili baltimores D is fire but also try houston or carolina for offense

I'm guessing, and I apologize ahead of time if I'm wrong, because he's a tourney guy he's not using custom playbooks so he likes the fact that it's ruined for everybody else, 99% of the community in other words. Which is the general attitude of most tourney guys, they can't have any fun because of the crazy strict tourney rules and they don't want anybody else having fun.

A CPB+ the auds of your choice would get out of hand very quickly and would ruin the fun for all.

Again, I respectfully have to disagree. I do not understand that logic at all. If calling the plays you want to call would be the downfall of the madden, and again, I have no idea how it would.. so be it. It's a football game and if you want realism when it comes to the most BASIC aspect of the game of football, like almost all madden gamers can agree on, sim or freestyle, you have to let people call the plays they want to call, period. I would understand this logic TO A DEGREE, at least to point of vaguely comprehending it, if they just gave us the ability to call the plays we want to call, which of course includes setting your own audibles, on offense ONLY and on the flip side the same option was not in place on defense. If you have the same abilities on defense it can't be a decided advantage for the offense.
