LOL I'd say that's the same for every play... if you get passed the first line of defenders and you have decent speed.. you are gone. Yup these are great links. There is a lot of stuff you can apply to Madden from the NFL... not a lot.. You can't add hardly anything from the 3-4.. I wish I could run the defense like the 3-4 does, but they can't... Offensive/Defensive line interactions are too horrible to work anything like the 3-4.. In the NFL the Zone Blitz works very well, but if you take lineman off of the line of scrimmage, your defenders will rarely get through... Offensive lineman blocking is horrible in Madden compared to the NFL.. OL play like robots, they have eyes behind their head.. the know exactly who their man is... I hope in Madden 11 you are able to assign your offensive line to certain players or tell them to block a certain way other than this stupid slide protection... Also the block left/block right doesn't work correctly.. the only way you can make it work correctly is whenever the player you want to block a certain way goes behind the center.. as soon as he's lined up with the center, you do the blocking assignment to the left or right, then you'll notice the block angle is to whichever way you assigned it.. You can see this by using the Pistol, I-Form, Strong, Weak, Singleback, and Full House.. Block the RB lined up behind the center/QB and it'll assign the correct way.. TIP: If you see A-gap pressure while in shotgun, motion your RB so he cross the center.. when he crosses the center, block him to whichever way would be the inside.. so if your RB is on the strong side (right), you'll block to the left.. if he's on the weak side, you'll block him to the right. After you see the block angle has changed, you'll motion your RB back to the side of your QB.. Snap the ball, and your RB will give you a couple of seconds to throw the ball. | |
