I'm not sure if anyone here knows that I rarely believe in ratings.. ratings like awareness, route running, man coverage.. Well I've changed my mind on a few ratings..

Pass Block Footwork.. Seems to work; No video yet.. but I have a video of route running.. Look at the difference between the 99 RRE guy and the 70 RRE guy.. Remember.. they both have identical stats in all categories minus swagger and RRE.. I think all 90 speed and stuff..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJ_6wph7AK8

All Madden of course.. well this time I tried it vs. man coverage.. I put the WRs up against the most identical man coverage ratings that the raiders have..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0PLiYkPUUo

btw, the first video has WR a on the outside.. then on the second test he's on the inside.. Gibs wanted me to test if it was just because of positioning.. they both have the same agility/speed/accel btw.. The high RRE guy almost catches up to the low RRE guy Very Happy

I did another test earlier before these videos.. it was a double move route that I tried MCV with.. If the CB had 90+ MCV, he would never fall for the double move.. but if the CB had 70 or so.. he would fall for it considerably more than if he had 99 MCV.. The WR I tried it with on that test was a 99 RRE player..

Do you think that kind of quick cut inside has more to do with the route running or would it be better to look for a reciever with a much higher agility? I guess what I am asking is which stat would you sacrifice for the other?

I think man coverage is too good this madden..... Receivers never get locked up sooooo muchhhh like that in real life unless its an elite CB like revis and the raider guy....
Its like any team can run man cov effectively...

P.S I hate the raiders...Ima use the jets next time i play against the raiders and see how that works out...

Raiders still have one of the worst defenses in real life....Yet they have the most effective madden defense... EA needs to drop the raiders defensive ratings more!!!!!

yes top 5 in worst defenses....they are good against passing but thats bout it..not good vs run allow an average 120 yards a game and they allow an average 24 points a game (estimate)

The only reason they allowed 23.7 pts per game cuz they were always on the field- offense gave up ball in horrible field position. They're defensive efficiency rating (Pts given up per average 80 yard drive, points off turnovers, and 3rd down efficiency) was ranked 4 in the NFL behind Ravens, Steelers, and Jets.

It has to do with route running. Both receivers have the same amount of stats when it comes to movement.. like speed, acceleration, agility. 90 agility is a decent amount of agility, and as you see, the guy with only 70 RRE did not make as sharp a cut as the 99 RRE guy did.
