| 1. I have been having a hard time with a friend of mine. He utilizes the cover 2 defense in such an amazing way. but he adds turbo blitz into the mix..plus good old bump n. run....Can you teach us the best way to burn the cover 2?
2. My second question im wondering if u can do what it is u do with goal-line defense but instead with 46-bear? could u show us a setup that maybe effective?
3. what is the most effective button to press for tackling? the least likely to miss or let the man get way?
4. Can you explain the whole process of play-making?and how to make it effective and explosive?
I use 46-playbook and Eagles as my team.
Let me know what you think. Thx

I'd definitely say hit stick because with stripping, you risk a broken tackle. If you hit stick correctly, you get a tackle, at the same time, the guy could fumble. So you make a tackle.. and as a bonus, you could cause a fumble =)

| This is my first question ever so hopefully you guys can help me out. How can you successfully defend 4 and 5 wide sets? I played a guy today who went 4 and 5 wide the whole game. I beat him, but on crucial down and distances he was able to convert/get big play. Seems like every time I set up a blitz, they don't get there or he beats it. Do you play f@g D or do you bring the house? A lot of people online don't like going 4 or 5 wide unless its like a screen or something. I have a hard time beating my friend. He plays with the Ravens and goes 4 and 5 wide the whole game and it seems like if I don't get a turn over and execute on offense i have no chance. thanks guys | |

| Best way to utilize the raiders offence? Use Jemarcus or Gradkowski more often? Their defence is legit, and i got no problems there. I can play dink and dunk and run the ball for the most part, but would just like some tips and suggestions on how to utilize their O. Would you start Mcfadden @ HB and put Bush @ fb. Which recievers would you use? | |

| 1. How do you punt the ball and kick long field goals?
i mean so the punts can go far and out of bounds.
and for field goals far and accurate...
i use the eagles? should i put my punter for my kicker? when i kick field goals?>
2. Also what are some effective ways to utilize the play-maker in madden 2010?
3. As for turbo blitzing, why is it not effective in the middle (or between lineman)?

thx.... You shouldn't put your punter @ kicker because their stats are lowered when you do that. It's best to keep your kicker at kicker, punter at punter, but for Kick Off Specialist, you should put the player with the highest Kick Power as the #1.

| 1. Gents last week you touched on the WR drag play from Gun Doubles. Along with FL screen, what plays would you use to create a 6 play scheme using the Lions PB?
2. Jets team breakdown.
3. Without using the RC, what are some consistent ways to get the TE involved in the passing game?

| 1. When building your defensive rosters through trades and such or revamping your current roster for say the 4-4 defense what is the most important position to start with? The inside linebackers? Corners who will be left on a island? The Outside backers?
2. When running the shotgun split would you utilize a receiving TE such as Greg Olson as the slot to catch passes in traffic or use him as a RCer on the post corner route?

You can RC with Jake Allen.. a new WR that was just added, and I believe another WR.. if not, use Greg Estandia.. he's 6'8".. a beast LOL.. I used Quinn because he's faster + has throw on the run, and I believe most of his stats are better than Anderson's.. The Browns are a horrible team to use, and I just had them last season in the EAFL.. I went 3-13. You should definitely utilize the Goalline Offtackle in the Balanced book. The Browns have two good RBs.. the ones that aren't Jamal Lewis lol.. They have the great RB that has 93 speed.. and another one that has 94.. utilize them.

| "How do you setup HB slip screens to make them effective consistently. It seems like if I roll out to buy time waiting for blocks to set up and try to hit the screen a DE will often cover it. People that use playbooks like HOU for example like me do not have WR screens at their disposable at all. I miss the screen element in my scheme.
On a side note I think I have a good idea for a new segment on the show. Call it something like 3rd and 7 and each week go over a new play/concept that will CONSISTENTLY net you a first in that situation but lean heavy on the concept part so we can use it with almost any playbook if by any chance you actually like the idea.

| how can you tell what formations have the ability to have an unbumpable route when you manually motion. Most formations I will motion and try to hike but it has to wait till they get set on the other side. Other times I motion and hike and it doesnt do it right away but it wont wait till the reciever gets set, but then the reciever takes a pause before running his route. | |
