And the cowboys run a base offense with 2TEs in the game.....They will be in spread formations with the TE's on the outside and the 1 and 2 WR's in the slots

idk i think it would be kind of annoying, off tackle can be hard enough to stop in one formation 4 others would be a pain. and i think it would be kinda lame to have like 5 formations that post corners could be ran out of snugs post corners could be pretty nasty. same thing goes for the PA clown out of snugs. in theory it would be kinda cool, but the defense doesn't always have the tools to stop the offense.

I think if they let you do alot of things from the playcall screen and presnap that would be great excluding formation shifts
I don't remember the last time I saw a "formation shift" in a real football game in real life
I mean for one we don't know the play so it could be but most likely it's really an audible which we already have
I'd like if they would give you the ability to change audibles at the playcall screen
they used to have that and having a TE at WR to me isn't cheating nor is having Harvin or Jackson at HB in a Goalline offense

the real deal is they don't give you enough options to defend it or don't make the correct playcall against it effective enough

I mean Jackson and Harvin getting direct snaps and Olsen and Finley at a WR position is nothing new

EA just has trouble adjusting to it/ not real football
if you made correct PLAYCALLING and adjustments matter more and gave more options and immediate availability to making changes/ adjustments no one would worry about a direct snap to Jackson or Harvin as much because you could (get this) on top contains, QB spy, and regular blitzing you could (get this) create your own blitz angles and you could (get this) actually beat WR blocks much easier than OL and OL actually act smart and block the guy in front of him/ stop ignoring people close to him

translation- these things aren't really realism problems as in they are fake/ they are EA problems because the options, tools, effectiveness of good playcalling and physics, ratings aren't respected as they should be

I plead guilty to this..play with bears and 5 wide with nothing but tightends and full backs with hester and audible to goaline offtackle...i did similar stuff since madden 08...it works like a charm...LOL but TE's are elgible receivers and they can line up where ever...

Im hopin the spectacular catch will be brought back to online play in 11...it would be even sweeter if u could user trigger it lol.. but ive read they added tons more catchin animations and i caint wait to mess around with it...

Im interested in seeing the Locomotion engine in action. If it works how they say it will, I think the running game is gonna be great in 11.

the running game is easy this year (without OT) imo. I want the run game how it was in 08 minus the FB dive....But I think the run game will be harder cuz of LBs/DE acc, which will be a huge facter

the only thing that bugs me is the defense, if they are going to make the running game all legit then they better make the run defense just as legit.

yea inside runs need to be alot better.

everytime i see people complain about the run game i laugh. if u want to run the ball here are some suggestions. stop running gl offtackle and get out of pass balanced were people already have seen all your run plays a thousand times

it doesn't matter what book your run HB dive just isn't a good run period, thats all he sayin

lol i hate those when im playing Defense, i was playin last night and some dude ran a full back dive on the 9 yard line and i stopped him in the back field. but this fool was determind or something, he did like a running trip 360 or something and scored the TD when i made initial contact in the backfield. haha i was like wtf???
