Pause glitch???

How do you know when this happens cause twice today I have been playing and winning and game pauses and when it returns to the game screen it shows both players playbook like ur playing on the same tv and then its frozen but doesn't say he has quit

Its the new pause glitch, nothing you can do about it...i been trying to figure a counter out no luck so far
