Finally Here!!! My First Ebook.

Three things:

1. To whoever said the contain/spy concept of 10 is easy to run on, you are right. I, however, had NOTHING to do with that setup that Gibs created. Also, you are out of touch with what I'm talking about. The run D that Gibs and I came up with in Madden 10 was to stop all offtackle runs in the backfield for like -4 yards...and it worked. It works even better this year....and on all runs (outside a pitch/toss)

2. You CAN NOT legitimately claim something to be yours if you never had intentions of leaking it tot he public. Sorry, you can't. I don't even claim the run D to be mine (Have I mentioned that, lol?) It's a he said/he said ordeal. And I'm not even arguing that it's mine. However, I'll argue that the positioning of the user rush is mine/Gibs dating back to last year. Their is evidence in the TWIM archive....somewhere....I'll find it if I have to.

3. Everyone saying that the run stopping concept works better with spy assignments over contains is not running it right. Trust me....You aren't putting the rusher in the right spot. That's all I'm going to say on it.

Is the run D good or not? That's all I want answered. I see people either complaining about who came up with it first, then some people saying its shitty.

I've personally ran the spy DTs in the eBook a few times and I havn't gave up any explosive plays. Maybe like 3-4 yard gains which is a decent gain.

all of this bickering ova who "created" this or who "came up with that" is so childish! that is NOT what Madden Bible is about. leave that to the other sites!

Question for you: you know i run the Ravens and i know my boys well! i've noticed that you use Redding or Kruger at the DT spot and not Ngata, Cody or Gregg. why is that? i am curious so let me know bruh!

The argument in here bout what's better has got me confused. I've been getting kiled with CJ u the middle and the sides even with contains.

The best run D (as far as being well rounded in the event of a quick pass) is the writeup in the book. If you are certain that they are running, blitz the DTs.

what defensive playbook u use?

i use the 46 book.

46 zone stretch...blitz the B gap to whichever side you think the run is going... Use FS to clean up...

Ive used this run stopping d since M10 (shutdown OT)

Best Run D period.

No. Darren McFadden just broke about 12 tackles in the backfield WHILE having a FB and WR lead blocking. That particular dive is solid against it...but most people aren't gonna HB dive against a pinched line. Gibs knew about this defense before that game on TWIM and labbed runs against it, and that was what he found worked without running toss.

I just watched it again. He consistently gained 4-6 yards with the dive and shotgun draws without breaking tackles in the bf. He had jacoby ford and heyward-bey lead blocking lol.

The Run D with two QB Spies is better.. It doesn't matter the positioning of the Run D..




By the way, you could actually say who created the run D.. you've hinted at it.. you could ask Jeter to take your name out of the eBook..
You yourself have complained about people stealing your plays & calling them your own. You were pissed in the TWIM chat saying that it was your concept you came up with where Gunfused gave out a tip on the air.. You are okay with "e-cred" on TWIM, but when someone else wants "e-cred" and it somehow effects you so you think you are qualified to tell people that they shouldn't claim their own plays & setups..

I knew this kinda sh!t was gonna happen.. Getting credit for a play will get more people listening to you if it's good.. I like to get credit for plays that I come up with.. I know you like it too... I come up with plays then I'll put them on my YouTube account.. but as of late, it's been getting really ridiculous when people claim that a setup you came up with is theirs.. I actually created a YouTube video of a few setups I love to run so just in case someone tries to accuse me of using an "eBook" offense or stealing their plays.. I have the plays hidden on private until I decide to release them.. I even have a few plays of JayNizz's on there too because it's pretty bad when someone steals a play & posts it on another forum saying they came up with it last night or just now.. [I put them in YouTube videos just because they date each video.. plus it shows how I run it..]


No one is saying this eBook is bad. No one said you are claiming credit for this setup.. but the eBook did state that the credit goes to ZAN.. Not JayNizz.


I know Madden Bible isn't about who created this or who came up with that, but it's happened to Madden Bible before..
Anyone remember a Balanced playbook come out on a rival site after MB released theirs?
Does anyone remember when MB announced they were releasing a TENN D book, then days before it's scheduled release, another website sold TENN D eBooks.. WHICH THAT EBOOK INCLUDED SETUPS TO THE GOALLINE D.

That site put a 3 play scheme in their "lab" subscription in January 2010.. MB released a NYJ D book in about November of 2009.. They were identical setups just different words..

Also on that same site, they also put SGIBS7's Goalline D..



This happens to everyone.. and even Sgibs/ZFarls will get pissed about it.. You saw a few episodes of TWIM where Sgibs put that site in their place.. He basically did a "Grind My Gears" segment that completely destroyed said site..







The best run D from 46 Normal is probably this:

46 - Cover 1
1. Pinch DL
2. Spread LBs
3. Make sure you have the SS on the outside right of the RT or TE...
4. Put both DTs in spies
5. Put the MLB in anything but a blitz.. [flat/deep/purple/contain]
6. Stand about 2 yds behind both DTs.. You'll want to aim straight down then once you see where the run is going, head for the RB because usually you'll be in the backfield instantly.. it will take some time to get adjusted to it, but go to practice mode & try it.

I say Cover 1 because man coverage vs. run is WAY better than ZONE coverage vs. run...
Zone defenders drop back 5 yds at the snap.. they stay there until the ball is handed off.. Man defenders instantly blitz because they can tell if their assignment is on a blocking assigment or a route... The CPU cheats so they instantly know they are not running routes..

You spy the two DTs because they stand up, then the C/G chase them down.. this leaves a BIG hole in between the two DTs..


The blitz angle you are speaking of ZAN may be great.. but if you just stay 2 yds behind the DTs with your best MLB & rush in.. it's nearly unstoppable.. I've had xHHx run this against me so many times.. I can never get a run game going other than tosses..


What is the exact setup for the Run D you speak of ZAN? I think I understood Jeter's setup... but not positive..

1. Pinch DL
2. Put the MLB over the SDT, with half of his body showing on the left side of the DT




Btw, again, if this run D isn't as good as the other, why not just tell Jeter the best Run D you have? This is a top notch run D.. it's even better in some 4-3 formations with outside "containment.."

Wangtangkiki, you are missing the point...long winded posts don't equate being right or wrong....but here goes one of my own.

I told Jeter both setups. The spy setup is better as a complete defense (say, if they decide to pass). But if you are sure they are going to run (like 100% sure) then pressuring the offensive line, rather than vice versa, is definitely the way to go...especially if it sets the user rush lane in a quicker fashion. That's all I'm saying. Jeter included that setup (I'm guessing) because most people don't know that you can rush through spied DTs....

This whole e-cred thing is much adieu about nothing, WTK. To be honest, you stirred the pot more than JayNizz did. JayNizz sent a PM to me about it, and you reminded me on more than one occasion that such and such a person was going to get mad. IT'S NOT MY EBOOK. Jeter asked me if I knew any stellar run Ds and I combined the two.

You sit here saying the "credit to ZAN" can be taken as I invented it...but frankly...it can be taken as "ZAN showed this D to Jeter" as well...simply playing the devil's advocate.

For the fourth d@mn time, I do NOT claim this D. I don't even RUN it. I just know about it, and Jeter implemented it into his scheme. So I really wish people would stop coming at me about telling Jeter "hey, use my turbo rush angle from 10 through a couple DTs diagonally through two spies" (THATS LITERALLY HOW THE CONVO WENT)

TBQH, Wangtangkiki is making more of a tiss about it than JayNizz. Not to hate on you, WTK...but you're envoking HS drama. I bet JayNizz didn't find out that a similar setup to something he runs was in Jeter's ebook on his own...I bet you IM/PM'ed him ASAP after reading it.

And most importantly. There is a difference between showing something that was previous already out there to the public (Gunfused's call on TWIM, Madden Minds stealing Gibs D, etc...) and putting something out there that hasn't been out there. I came to find that had Jeter not put it in his book, it would never have been released anyways. I wasn't claiming the spy setup, just the rush angle...but the SPY aspect would never have been released by HH, regardless....per JayNizz.

to be honest....all of this bickering over set ups is what causes cats NOT to share their stuff to help the community. i like what Wang said! MBs schemes (i.e. Balanced and NYJ pb) have been ripped off in the past but that is to be expected when ZFarls and SGibs share stuff for FREE that is viewable by all! that is unfortunate but it hasn't stopped them from sharing tips and giving out "free" schemes to help improve the community. i luv creating and coming up with my own stuff though! that's why i don't run the more popular OBooks and Dbooks in the game. that ensures that no one else is running either my pb or plays just like me.

on a different note; what the hell is this "e-cred" that i have been reading about in this thread? you cats come up with a new saying every week!

And for the record, the user rusher ought to be about 3-4 yards off the LOS and directly over the RG with a rush angle diagonally back at the center/quarterback (about 8 oclock on the thumbstick).

Mili, don't worry about it. I'm not looking to jock people's setups. I have my setups jocked on multiple occasions, dating back to my first jock (Madden 08, where Duke stole a KILLER Indianapolis playbook setup from me after a lab game with me)...

But I'm still here for the community.

I'm not going to sit here and say every little setup is mine. In fact, individual plays I run are almost never mine. I typically run scheme stuff offensively, and have a few defensive setups that I develop/tinkered from stuff I've seen or collabed with Gibs on. This setup is a mixture. The rush angle was in collab with Gibs. The spys are apparently JayNizz's...if he wants to claim them, so be it...I'm on record for the fifth time saying I didn't invent blitzing through DT spys.

Im here for this community, I coulda chose to help other sites but I came to madden bible because gibs is in my crew, and you guys do it right! YOU guys are the reason playing madden is fun. Who cares who created it, zan showed me it, so therefore zan is getting my credit. Plain in simple.

This was to help lesser players or players that needed help.... And thats what I hope it did, not all this bickering for no reason.

(e-books) E-books in my view have slowly destroyed the madden scene because the truth is any bum with half a brain can buy one and be pretty descend, which in turn becomes a mass effect of everyone running the same things thinking there good but are they? NO. So yes HH was not planning on releasing this info, but on the other hand we have been running it since week 2 of madden dropping and plenty of people have played us and there run has been locked up. So for people to act like it did not originate in HH is completly ludacris, and all the people who we have played know the truth. Does HH need credit? No not at all but dont run around acting like you came up with a great creatation when you really just jocked it. Maybe someday we can get back to coming up with things, keeping them within our circles and not releasing e-books. Diversity is the only way Madden will prosper, no one wants to see the same thing everytime they jump on, and i understand people are just trying to help the community but in the grand scheme of things its killing it. Let the rookies be rookies like we all were at one time when i was comin up i never had no website/ebook to run to to improve i did it myself, let people learn there own way. Nowhere in this thread is anyone claiming to have invented anything. For the sixth (and final) time (...if ya'll choose not to read or CAN'T read...that's not my problem). I do not claim to have invented the D. All I'm claiming is the turbo rush angle that Gibs and I created last year. Whoever wants to claim the DT spys HAVE AT IT.

Nowhere did Jeter ever claim to have invented ANY of the D's in his ebook, either. He simply claimed that I showed him the run D he included. And I said I didn't invent blitzing through DT spy assignments, either. So somewhere along the line (if HH invented it) someone didn't stay tight lipped and I heard blitzing through spy assignments worked...so I relayed it to someone in my circle.
