with the madden curse i dont consider it an honor for the athlete who graces that cover, its only gonna bring mayhem and sorrow, IMO.

I think EA wanted to put Mike Vick on the cover but didn't have the B@lls to do it. By letting the fans vote him in they get what they want and they have a scapegoat if things get ugly.

^^^ can't agree at all that it was pre-determined, Vick is more exciting, Rodgers is the Champ, both would help sell possibly more games because of 'who is on the cover'?

yeah there is just so many more ppl with hillis jerseys than sb mvp rodgers, vick, or A.D. The overhelming amount of cleveland fans got hillis on the cover. I seriously doubt it.

There is stigma attached to vick plus he was already on the cover no way he goes on the cover. Plus the report that he was reportedly on steriods.

I just think if it was predetermined that someone besides Hillis goes on the cover, even if its predetermined why hillis?
