I just think if it was predetermined that someone besides Hillis goes on the cover, even if its predetermined why hillis? No way one person voted 300,000 times you could only vote once a day per computer

| trust me it is very easy to set up a "zombie" machine to vote over and over again around the clock. I for one am glad Hillis won. He is 100% throw back. Blue collar, hard working guy that keeps his nose clean. Sure the other players had better stats and swagger etc but this dude represents Joe every man and that my friends is why they willed him to win. | |

| Lott0042 my man!
yes hillis was a 7th round draft pick who has busted his tail with hard work to make it in the NFL !
He is a throwback power back, we havent seen his type in awhile, maybe mike alstott from the bucs, but i think Hillis is more agil, and better vision then alstott... plus all the things you mentioned Lott0042 about him being blue-collar, he isnt a proto-typical HB in the NFL right now,so he has had to wait his turn and put his work in, to see the field, this man hasnt had it handed to him...alot of people relate to this i think...
E.A. has to be tickled that this got so much publicity, and 13 million votes, i'am sure this type of voting process for the cover was done to generate more interest in the game....

I was on Browns message boards yesterday and a group or team of fans had been voting for Hillis as much as they could , allegedly voting over 300,000 times! LOL i was just in cleveland a few days ago for a business conference. ~Mili

| Everyone I know IRL voted for Hillis, and I live nowhere near Cleveland and none of them were Browns fans. When I asked them why, they just said it would be nice to have something "different."
Interpret that how you will . . . .

| I thought there was a big conspiracy on some site like 4chan to vote for Hillis.. People like misery! So they wanted to vote in a bad team that's suffered for a decade to have more misery by having one of their best players to be cursed..
then there are a lot of dog lovers that don't forgive Vick.. so that went against him..
then there are people that voted a billion times by using proxies.
