What does the "release" skill ?

People used to say it was the opposite of the "press" skill, but in NCAA 12 it is combined with QB skill upgrades, so that doesn't seem to make sense.

So what does it do?

I believe it's when your quarterback will back up from the center after taking the snap, thus how quickly they are able to do the play.

It is how effectively your receivers can get off of press coverage.
