Ok fellas you prob think im nuts for saying this but it needs to be said SLEEEEPPPEERR ALERT! the seattle seahawks believe it or not are a DOMINANT madden 12 team. here is my set up. keep in mine i run the HOU O/ OAK D so im a advocate of a 46 defense and these guys are a great fit for my playstyle.
QB) T. Jackson. not the best in the game and makes some wild throws but if you get in the lab and get used to his throwing style he is dangerous in the right hands. CANNON arm and is a headache when he contributes to the run game. will keep the D honest with his 84 spd. the backup is basically a carbon copy of jackson.
HB) l. washington 95 SPEED!!! this dude is quick. great in the passing game and can take any toss to the house. he is small but i think in about 10 games hes only fumbled 1 time for me. Forsett is a great backup 91 speed can get the job done. these 2 are a headache in shotty 2 back. and obvioulsy M. lynch for those tough yards.
FB) I start M. lynch here due to kick return reasons. i take my starting fullback(robinson) and put him @ #3 so he can be my #2 man on kick return for that extra boost in blocking. if you really want to beef it up then put robinson @ #3 and then place your highest rated run block strength/ impact blk players @ 1 and 2. if i want to pound the rock i will sub in robinson @ #1 via the r1/rb method on the playcall screen.
WR) its really up to you how you set these guys up and this is probably where i was most surprised on this roster. these guys are like the baby chargers. S. rice 6'4 , M. williams 6'5 and get your big TE Z. miller out there YOU HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH HEIGHT. your speed guys are Butler/tate. ex gun snugs from left to right i would have rice/butler/tate/williams(miller) so your outside wrs are your rocket options bigger and better blockers and your slots are your burners.
TE) great depth here Miller/Morrah/Carlson. if you run a 2 TE set GET MORRAH ON THE FIELD!! 84 spd. can be a headache espcially the way i run these 2 guys outta sb ace twins. If you really wanna be a animal in the KR game put your starting LT/RT at the # 2 and 3 TE slots so they will be part of your blocking wall on kick return. dont worry they wont be your TEs when your on O cuz they will already be out there as you LT/RT .
OFFENSIVE LINE- your preference... for some reason R. gallerey was on the bench so make sure to get him out there. just go with your best/ highest rated guys at their respective postitions.
LDE) A. Curry guy is a animal here nuff said.
RDE) MADDEN GEM. who the hell is J. Konz??? THE ROCK SAYS IT DOESNT MATTER WHO J. KONZ IS cuz j. Konz had 90 spd @ DE!!!! no brainer get him on the field as you primary pass rusher.
DT) Branch/Brock/Membane. depending on your style i play like gibs with a beast DT and another DT who can make plays dropping into cov. your beast is Branch with the highest strenght/ blk shed combo and your Cov guys is Brock whose got godd height and speed. if you wanna beef it up get Membane out there and take brock out.
LOLB) Clemons/Hill/Wright- Clemons is actually a DE but this is where he fits nicely into our 46 DC hes too good to ride the pine and we need to maximize our rosters potential. pretty standard set up for the backers get your best tacklers out there
MLB) Hawthorne/Hill/Wright- hawthorne is a great MLB plays smart and is rarely out of position good wrap up tackler.
ROLB) Hill/Clemons/Wright- again best tacklers on the field.
CB) Trufant/E. Thomas/Thurmond/J. Johnson/R. Sherman- Trufant is our best CB, E. Thomas is a great safety but not in my scheme he goes to #2 cb he plays well here and can keep up with his 93 speed, he makes great plays on the ball and will jar balls loose in run support. Thurmond goes to #3 i wish he hade more speed for being my nickel back but he has good man cov ratings and is a solid nickel. J. JOHNSON (my mini Michael Mitchell lol) guy is taylor made for the #4cb slot in the 46 speed package great stats across the board. you may argue that A Bigby could go here and he could as Bigby has a 88 hitstick and Johnson has a 87 but IMO 1 point diff in hit power is not enough to justify startin Bigby cuz johnson is much more solid if you factor in other ratings.
FS) MADDEN GEM!!!!!!!!!! BRANDON BROWNER all 6 foot 4 of him will be flying around @ FS. great height/speed 75 hit power and can go up and compete for any ball, Dangerous player if you got good stick. backing him up is Maxwell/e. thomas ... i wish we could get maxwell on the field but he is a solid backup.
SS) another little know guy in madden who can make things happen. K Chancellor 6ft 3. Got height at safety? WE DO! he fast and he will be covering the BIG TE's so he really comes in handy vs your jimmy grahmas and wierd al gronks. Maxwell backs us here also.
I hope this helps people who are tired of playing with the HIGHEST RATED or traditional madden monster teams IE: GB PHIL OAK NO etc..... people will be throw so off guard when they see you pick SEA they will be like easy win. NO GRASSHOPPER cuz your just awoke the best madden sleeper team out there. Plus you can rock those rediculouse neon green jerseys lol
