The madden wall

I have pretty much stopped playing madden til 2010 comes out. I'm going to play 2 weeks before the gamestop tourny to prep and get my chi back together so I can dominate.

So are you guys still playing. And I know sgibs and zfarls are from the Boston area and I was wondering if you guys were playing in it.

ya ill be playing in it. In Framingham though.

however i havent played madden competively for about 2 months now

i wanted to play in the gamestop one last year however i was unable to because my family went on a cruise to alaska during the first week of it. i def intend on playing in it, just b/c i love playing in madden tournaments and whatnot.

it should be interesting because of how popular the fullback dive is in tournament settings, but if i remember correctly (because i was back from vacation for the 2nd round of the tourney and went with gibs to play in the 2nd round), you could not set up audibles. meaning you could audible, just into the stock audibles of that playbook... meaning people will either come out in fullback dives or find a playbook where that is a standard audible.

i for one, have put the madden sticks down for the time being. i get a sudden urge to play a game from time to time and hop on xboxlive and do so, but for the time being i'm going to keep playing UFC and get back into playing Zelda Twilight Princess... of which i started, played for about a week straight, got stuck, and then put it down... this was like 3 months ago.

i would imagine that Z and Gibs are planning on playing in that, do you have any idea when the dates are for that?

what region of the Boston area are you?

It will be around June 25th or close to that. Just call gamestop to ask about it and I'm near Salem and Lynn.

then again, all i'd have to do is fade rocket, curl rocket, and fb dive my way down the field with the cowboys FTW!

Last year I made it to the finals of the 2nd tourny but some guy did the 3 down lineman blitze and I wasn't as good as I am now. I'm 10x better now so I hope I do better. How far did sgibs go in the whole thing.

and yeah, the good ol d-line glitch in madden 08. call a play with 3 down linemen, pinch the line, crash the line, and instant pressure.

Gibs and I DESTROYED two kids and shattered their dreams. Then I let gibs get the title because I was unavailable for the next round. Typical Gibs blew it though.

I heard you can't even pick your playbook. Can I at least pick my team? For example I would pick the Colts so I could have their offensive playbook.

Where did u hear that.

from what i remember in watching gibs last year in the 2nd round, any team, original rosters, pick your playbooks, you just cant change the audibles.

where as you could be the cowboys, with the colts playbook, multiple d playbook, can audible but it has to be unchanged audibles

Ya that's what I had to do. But I bet in the rounds 1-3 the refs won't notice me change to my PB

Should I use Dallas or Oakland? I'm a Raiders fan and I never use the Cowboys but they are the best team this year.
