the redskins is top 3, IMO, best defensive team in madden 12. I personally think madden 13 will lose a lot of fans because of the new defense 1st focus its going to be on.see, this year you have to be crafty on defense, because ive noticed that many people pick teams like 49ers, pittsburgh, ravens, amd packers A LOT. cool, to each its own, whatever floats your boat, but have you ever played with them and noticed how you can pick any play and because of how good the defense natural is for those teams, you have less to worry about? this is where i come inat.i utilize teams like the browns, rams, and washington.these star studded teams bore me to death, why? because when you win with them theres no satisfaction to me.now when you win with a low team, theres satisfsction meaning there was skill and effort involved. with that being said heres a redskins tip thats helpful:

KEY PLAYER:LARON LANDRY

EXPLANATION: simple, this guy is a stud, and theres been talks of moving him to the linebacker position next year. you can play a 4-3 defense with him involved, not fromhim being a safety, but an actual LB.all you do is put him as your #3 CB. come out in any nickel play, and audible to any 4-3 play.he will then become a ROLB.he is one the FEW. in this game that play this effectively.he has great blockshedding, great tackling, and crazy hitpower,good size and strength and while he's playing that position, he will become the fastest LB on your team at this point.move OJ otogwe to SS. and hall to FS, Buchanon and wilson cane be your 1 and 2 CB tandem.fletcher @ MLB, and kerrigan at LOLB.Orapo at LE, Carriker @ RE, Cofield @ DT1, and Bowen @ DT2.thats how ive been doing it. and lately ive been dominating.i destroyed cat yesterday, he had the packers.he had me 14-0 before the half, and the scored ended up being 41-14.this is a creative way i use washingotn's talents on the field.not all teams can do this, i think arizona could possibly do it and miami.because they both have SS that can play a LB position and hold there own. pittsburgh cant IMO because lack of DB depth.i mean it MIGHT work, but i feel you would be weak at the DB position.aight thats it guys tell me what you think.

we may have lost landry but since we probably getting rg3 ppl are definitely going to start using the redskins more but i know bro the redskins are nice...

i've been using the redskins a lot lately and i'll give you my few sense...i also play landry at lb but i do the rest of my setups a little different.

I like Nield / carriker at dt 2...carriker is better for passing situations at 74 speed and nield although low ratings never gets pushed to the ground like bowen.

At cb / fs u can switch these 2 i tend to use barnes over wilson. That height at 5'9 or 5'10 gets killed by anyone who face throws. If you want a ball hawk fs put hall there if you want someone with height who can hit put barnes there. at 6'1 and 76hit power he has good size for either cb or fs

When I ran Redskins I had Landry @ #2 CB and Hall and Otogwe FS/SS, worked for me

But i will say the Bengals are also nasty on D.. I been toying around with the Jags.. There D has players to.

The Packers, Giants, and Bengals defenses are all better...jmo

you maybe right zan, but im the type who will not play with packers and giants, for obvious reasons.the skins are an underused team because of their offense.and most people tend to pick teams in madden that are doing good in the regular season anyway.its not everyday u hear someone hollering redskins, rams, or browns.

i wanna see how many hop ons start using the skins next year if we get rg3 ( which is very likely) everyones gunna be using em like ppl use the panthers and eagles... its sad but i use the skins with rg3 ( rex grossman III) and i bust people cause my d is on point and i run out alot of time with my possessions. but mark my words next year the redskins will be top 5 team used online

when u do this scheme at putting landry at rolb do u have any specific play u run man or zone?

I love using the Skins.. I play Jonathan Crompton at QB #1 WR is Leonard Hankerson.. really underrated and dominant team if used right

my D is similar to yours with a 3-4 4-3 hybrid with landry being my key cog

can u give me an exact scheme on what you do, i love playing with the skins but its hard sometimes, and do you use custom playbook?^^^^^

and i really like using the raiders they are really nice
