| Let the debate begin...
Brady 3 rings
The best 18-1 team of all time
the best single season for a QB of all time.
Manning 1 ring
3 MVPs
Consistany is the key
MY PICK: Brady is the GOAT

| Seems the most common stat to persuade people to Brady is the 3 rings. My argument is rings take a team effort. Let's look at some individual stats.
Passer Rating over 90- Brady:4 Manning:9 4,000 Yard Seasons- Brady:2 Manning:9 30 TD Pass Seasons- Brady:1 Manning:4 Career Compl. %- Brady:63.3 Manning:64.7 Avg. Yards/ Game Brady:239.8 Manning:262.4
Brady is a great game manager but he will never be the caliber of QB that Manning is.
I would also be curious how many of Brady's yards come after the catch with all the screens and short passes they throw to Welker. Let the debate begin!

| Ok...I anticipated this.
If we are talking stats what better way to compare players then with the most current stats.
Brady 393 ATT 261 COMP 66.4% comp pct 3049 yards TD 20 INT 6
Manning 388 ATT 271 COMP 69.8% comp pct 3171 yards TD 21 INT 9
Hard to argue whose the better QB with the stats both have put up this year. Manning has a slight edge in yards and 1 more TD. While Brady has managed to keep the ball in his teams possession with 3 less INT's.
With those numbers its hard to argue who is the better QB this year. Ultimately it comes down to the ability to win...I would say that Peyton Manning has outperformed Brady this year because his team is 10-0. Manning has been the lead role in his teams performance this year. Wins count for something and when QB's are this close in stats and playing ability, winning plays a vital role in determining the ultimate player.
Brady 3 Rings
Manning 1 Ring | |

| Also, if we are going by Super Bowl Rings, why isn't Big Ben in the conversation? 2 Super Bowls, most wins in a season by a rookie QB, youngest QB to win a Super Bowl, he has some good credentials too. | |

| I would consider Ben in the argument
Althoguht I feel that hes a bit below Brady and Manning. he should be considered yes
and the Pats havent had a run game since Corey Dillon racked up 1600 yards
Manning had the best offense in football for quite sometime...lets not let the current blind us of the past.
Manning played with
Edge Harrison Wayne Clark
4 potential HOF's | |

| I do agree that Big Ben isn't quite in the same realm as Brady and Manning. One thing, however, that Manning has never had is a solid D like the Pats did in their 3 SB's. Manning has also never had a true deep threat like Moss. Wayne and Harrison are both amazing but neither have(had in Harrison's case) the height or speed to match Moss. | |

| Well, I think they are both outstanding qb's
And... I think that when the colts play the patriots the majority of the time the pats have won.
In the past decade I believe that the Colts have more victories but I am not 100 percent sure.
IM just gonna go with Peyton Manning as the better qb... IF Manning had moss and welker... Oh my goodness would manning go berserk lol!!

Brady had the best single season in NFL history with them. lets not discredit that. lets also not forget that Manning has had offensive weapons such as Faulk, James, Harrison, Wayne, and Clark. All of which are HOF's..he should be putting up the numbers he does. Brady has played with 1 HOF and is Wes continues he will be a HOF.

| This is all true, but the only year that Brady has put up Hall of Fame numbers is the year that he got his 2 HOF receivers. He had never thrown for 30 TD's in a season before the offense went off in '07. Manning consistently does it, including this year without his #2 WR Anthony Gonzalez. He makes Austin Colle and Pierre Garcon look like studs. Can you imagine the Patriots without Wes Welker? Manning is 10-0 without his #2 and the Pats would be a .500 team without theirs. The Patriots also haven't won the Super Bowl since 2004, odd how they haven't won since the "Spygate" incident showed its ugly head. | |

Mannind has Wayne and Clark Wayne and Clark are just as good a tandem as Moss and Welker.

| I can agree with that somewhat. Wayne and clark definitely have the hands that Moss and Welker do, but Clark lacks the speed and quickness of Welker, and Wayne lacks the speed, height and jumping ability that Moss possesses. A little off topic here but how is the Jet's E-Book coming along? | |

its all done! we are putting up the finishing touches. back on topic though. I agree Moss and Welker have different strengths then clark and wayne but thats why there all so great because of there differences. Moss is hands down one of the best to play the game. I give an edge to Brady right now becuase Moss is so good but over a career I give it to Manning.

| Ya Moss is nasty. He's even nastier in Madden!
One more off topic question: When will we be able to buy the guide?

| ya hes had the better players since 2007
Deion Branch, David Givens, Jabar Gaffeney, Reche Caldwell, Antoine Smith
those were the "studs" Brady had when he won the superbowl
Whats more imporatnt 3 MVPs? or 3 Super Bowl rings?
